What can I do to prepare for my lash appointment?

Please avoid using waterproof mascara for at least 3 days prior to your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment with no eye makeup.

How long do lash extensions last?

If you want to keep your extensions looking nice and full, they will need to be refilled every 2 – 4 weeks.

Can I wear makeup to my lash appointment?

Please refrain from wearing any makeup to your appointment. If this is not possible, please ensure you wear no eye makeup. If you arrive to your appointment with eye makeup, a cleaning fee may be applied.

How can I remove my lash extensions?

If you no longer wish to continue with your lash extensions, it is best to let them grow out and shed on their own. Alternatively, we offer a removal in salon using a professional eyelash extension remover cream. We do not recommend any at-home removal methods, as these can potentially damage your natural lashes and/or eyes.

I have existing lash extensions from another salon, can you refill them?

We do not refill work from another salon. If you have remaining extensions from another salon, please book a removal as well as a full set. We apologise for any inconveniences.

I don't know which set of lash extensions will suit me, what should I do?

We have a consultation with you during your initial appointment. However, please read the full description of each lash set as this might help you decide. You can also view our images to see what sets you like the most. Consider what you would like to achieve from having extensions is it length, volume or both? If you are still unsure prior to your appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us for advice.

Are lash treatments damaging to my natural lashes?

LASH EXTENSIONS:

No! As long as you are under the care of a lash technician that protects their clients natural lash health and have had proper industry standard training. Unfortunately, there are a lot of technicians who do not apply industry standard lash extensions and these can definitely cause short term and long term damage to your natural lashes.

LASH LIFTS:

No! The Yumi Lash Lift that we offer in salon is a Keratin based treatment. Keratin is a protein that is the key structural building block for hair, skin and nails. The lift is a 3 step process to re-structure your natural lashes in a safe, non-damaging way.

What aftercare is required for lash extensions?
